It pills...
I have used the Neutrogena fast-absorbing hand cream for years and it is great, so I was keen to try this as a body cream. The pot has a generous amount of product in it and the texture is very nice. However, it is not fast - or slow - absorbing at all, as it pills on the skin. At first I thought I had applied too much, so I cut the amount right down, but the effect was exactly the same: if I run my hand on my shins, for example, little bobbles of product come off even hours after application - I have tried both on slightly wet, as well as dry, skin but the same happens. The product appears to just be sitting on top of the skin and not being absorbed. It is unsightly and somewhat unpleasant, so I will not be using it again. Shame, as it had all the hallmarks of being a great product.
Ideal night cream
First up the tub is HUGE! My skin was very dry and flaky. Nothing was helping. A make up artist recommended Neutrogena for hydration. This cream helped rehydrate my skin. It’s best used at night. Apply gently (don’t rub it in). Also it’s not really a product to use under make up. I kept doubting it can be used on the face but it can! It says under the Usage tab on the description. Buy on offer even better. This out performs a lot of high end products. Recommended.
Light and fresh
Absorbs quickly with no greasy residue like many creams. The scent is light and fresh. I think its really good value, especially in comparison to some of the more expensive but rubbish creams on the market.
Excellent - rapid effects
I bought this to tackle dry skin on my shins in the winter. It sorted out the dry skin in no time at all! This cream packs a punch - you dont need much and it is absorbed really quickly. The pot is very economical, and I will be keeping it in from here on to deal with dry skin phases.
