I bought this soup thinking it would be a nice veg soup, then noticed on the back that it contains chillies. Lots of people don't like spicy food (and some are very intolerant to it), so I think the name or front of the pack should say it's got chillies in.
Favourite soup from the range
Definitely not watery like some reviews say. Really tasty, quite thick and warming. Regularly have this for lunch and its the nicest carrot soup Ive found.
I was never a soup fan but having spent 3 months in hospital after much invasive intestinal surgery I was unable to eat normally on discharge. I had to resort to soups and discovered this one. Thick, satisfying and delicious. Not a fan of the new packaging as you used to be able to microwave in the carton but hey there are ways around that...
Ruined by chilli.
Why must chilli be put into everything these days? Have the manufacturers forgotten the art of how to flavour food without it? Carrot and butternut squash are delicate flavours, and buying a soup so titled that is what I expect to taste, not chilli.
Really lovely and delicious
I really enjoy this soup - maybe 2017 has a new recipe - but I don't find it watery or bland - it is thick and tasty and seriously yummy - carroty and warming with a slight zing - my absolute favourite soup at the moment!
watery and tasteless
I used to love this brand but it's nothing like it used to be. Totally watered down and no taste at all, even after adding salt and pepper. I tried two different soups when it was on offer and both felt like I was eating hot water.
