NIVEA Simply the best
I bough these at half price, after trying out the night cream. I have extremely dry skin, and find it difficult to find creams that actually work, and this one does, both the day and night. One of the very few creams I wake up in the morning and my face is still dewy, what bliss.... It melts beautifully into my face and neck, and I find that reapplying several times, it continues to sink in, leaving my skin feeling wonderful, I absolutely love it. I do use a lot so get through it far to fast for the expense, but do occasionally resort to Nivea original as a top up and during the day I top up with Nivea factor 50, also excellent in summer. It does make my skin feel smoother, and more comfortable, but getting rid of wrinkles in a long shot with any cream really. Expensive for me, and I'm on my second tubs, so will continue to find the half price ones elsewhere when the deal is not available on Ocado.
OK but not great for my skin
I was given this to review. I found the day cream too thick. The night cream was Ok though. But I prefer a much lighter lotion rather than a cream so I probably wouldn't buy this.
pleasant
I'm reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. A bit of an excess in packaging, 2 boxes within a box which isn't necessary. The creams are both pretty pleasant and light in scent. The night cream is thicker than the day cream and neither were greasy. I haven't noticed any great difference to my skin as yet and therefore I will probably stick to my usual cream.
OK but not great
I didn't find these as moisturising as other brands but for the price these are ok. I found that they didn't sink into my skin particularly well and were over perfumed. They smelt of old fashioned soap.
Effective (on a male of the species)
Received free to review from Ocado, my Nivea for Men moisturiser was empty and for some reason my wife was not interested in this so I have been trying it out. I much preferred it to the 'for men' product (not as heavy, greasy), rich, goes a long way and it does seem to be cosmetically effective on those 60+ wrinkles. Very mild perfume so, except for the packaging I would not regard this as a solely feminine product. "Would you recommend this product to a friend?" - Yes, but would have to be a wealthy one.
Good but not the best
I was given these to review and past it on to my mum, who really loved how soft they made her scum, however she felt there were others on the market that she would prefer for its anti aging properties
