Mixed opinion
I received this free of charge from Ocado in exchange for a review. This is a REALLY clever idea: sunscreen in a roll on. It goes on easily, smells great and is from a trusted brand. The downsides are you still need to rub it in and it doesn't represent great value for money. On balance, it would be great to take to the beach to "top up" the children after they've been in the sea or pool but, at this price, I wouldn't use it as the main screen.
fab idea
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado What a fab idea to use on kids. Such an easy product to apply and factor coverage was good too. Smells lovely. Would buy this product
Quick and easy
I'm reviewing this product because I received a free sample from Ocado. I like the idea of a roll-on for toddlers, as it is easy to apply on them quickly when they are on the move. A handy size container for a pocket, and it gives good protection.
Didn't make my eyes water
I received this free to review. We don't have children so tested it on ourselves. My husband has Exzema/Psoriasis and reacts badly to a lot of sun protection creams, this was fine and goes on easily. I find that most brands, when applied to my face, cause my eyes to stream about 15 minutes after applying. I took the risk with no adverse reaction. It is quite expensive but certainly a lot cheaper than the mineral based perfume free brand I usually use for my face.
All in one product
I was given the opportunity to review this product in exchange for a review. This has so many positive, being extra water resistent - something I always look for - works immediately with a factor 50 protection coverage. I actually prefer a scent but know this isn't always easy to achieve when catering for sensitive skin. As a compact roll on, it's easy to use and to store but in terms of value for money, it's a very small quantity compared to the equivalent product in a spray or cream. It does still need rubbing in, but can imagine this would be easier for a child to apply with less waste. I love the Nivea brand generally, but can't see this being an affordable option for me.
Great design but overpriced
Im reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado. I like the concept and small size of this sun cream. It rolls on very nicely, leaving a thin layer that is easy to rub in and absorbs well. Its non-sticky and non-greasy. However, I dont think the convenience of the packaging justifies the extra cost given it contains only 50ml whereas you get 200ml with the spray for only £1.50 more. Id rather buy the spray bottle and have it last longer.
