This tart and sweet tangy apple has a streaky orange/red and green skin and has a crisp, firm, white flesh. As one medium apple counts as 1 of your 5 a day, it's an ideal healthy snack and also a good choice for baking and as they make an excellent pie or crumble filling.

These Braeburn apples were poor quality - they were all bruised so that it was necessary to cut away a great deal before eating.
Probably not getting them delivered...
Unfortunately, every apple in the bag arrived with some level of bruising. I appreciate it can easily happen, but it does of course cut down on the expected 'life span' of keeping the apples around. They didn't go to waste as I cooked them down with butter and cinnamon for breakfasts, etc. but I will probably keep apples to something I buy in the shops instead, as the same happened with the other bag I bought.
Beautiful and crisp
A lovely apple which I keep in the fridge as they last better. Crunchy with lots of juiciness and a great flavoured apple.
full of flavour
Have them everyday, sweet and juicy
lots of bruises
Worst condition of all
Seems like whichever variety of apples that I order lately seem to have a problem - usually several are bruised but thiis week's pack surpassed, containg one that was totally rotten halfway across. I do hope that Ocado can source some in perfect condition soon.
