I have just eaten this most delicious joint of beef for New Years Day lunch with the family. Each and everyone of us cleared the plates with ease. I couldn't recommend this beef highly enough and will definately be adding to my Sunday Lunches in the future. 5 Thank you Waitrose !
This beef is beyond delicious,you obviously get what you pay for.A. Good sign was the yellowing back fat which cooked down and basted the beef to perfection.We eat our beef extremely rare so I like to know I'm buying a good source of meat.I intend on buying a very large piece of this for Christmas Day.
This really was delicious so I am buying another joint. The medium weight was exactly in the middle of the weight range and it came with a good layer of fat that ensured the joint remained moist and tender. We used the leftover meat in sandwiches as it was far too tasty to turn into a cottage pie!
