I have been buying these for years and they were always good. At the beginning of summer, they were very pale and bashed and tasted bitter. I think it might have been something to do with the weather because all other supermarkets I went to at the same time seeking courgettes had the same problem. All seems to be back to normal now and last batch was good.
Have bought this a few weeks in row, but every time they are old, dry and falling apart. Kept thinking it was a one off but after 3rd time in a row I wont be getting these again. Tried the Waitrose courgettes and they are much better and fresh.
