Ocado Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives and solely by mechanical means.

Oils are sensitive to temperature changes and may appear cloudy when cold, however, this doesn't affect the taste. Their transparency will return naturally once the storage temperature is warmer.

Extra virgin olive oil has a complex and flavourful profile that is fruity, peppery, and sometimes slightly bitter. It's suitable for sautéing or gentle frying over low to medium heat, where its flavour won't be compromised, but most people tend to use it in its cold form when used with lots of dishes.

It's perfect for dipping crusty bread, breadsticks, or crudités, ideal for salad dressings and vinaigrettes, and delightful drizzled over finished dishes like soups, pasta, grilled meats, or roasted vegetables. Use as a base for marinades for meat, fish, or vegetables, incorporate it into sauces like pesto or tapenade.

Did you know?
We use plastic bottles for our Ocado Own Range oil because:
- They're made out of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) which is widely recyclable including the cap. Make sure you leave the cap on when recycling!
- Our bottles contain a minimum of 51% recycled content, which helps to use less, new plastic
- Plastic is strong which helps the bottle to travel safely without damage, and it's light weight also makes it more efficient on its journey to your front door

Store at room temperature, away from heat and direct sunlight.
