No complaints

Used this to make a ginger cake along with crystallised ginger. Both worked well together with plenty of flavour, no complaints here. Wouldnt hesitate to buy again.

Gingerless Snaps

This didnt add any ginger flavour to my ginger snaps. Just some brown coloured powder in a little pot for 85p. Do not buy!

Great stuff

'sometimes to pork casseroles & Chinese style meals for extra flavour & heat. Love a good tap in my low salt chicken stock cube winter cup-drink with a pinch of Chinese seasoning. Tasty mild heat is good when added to the apricot jam I serve with roast pork dishes (instead of apple sauce). I agree the observation about tiny label print & over write with a marker pen to save fetching my specs.

This compares very very well with more expensive brands. Makes lovely ginger cake.

label too small to read

This product is fine but when it is on my spice shelf the label is too small to read. Please change the font on your spice labels Ocado, the product is great but the labels are too small to read (when you get older and your eyes grow weaker).

Didnt hope much bcz it was the cheapest, but turned out to be really strong and flavourful!
