Ocado Houmous.
A blend of chickpeas and sesame seed paste, flavoured with garlic.

This creamy and delicious dip is made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic and is suitable for vegans. It's perfect for snacking with pita bread, breadsticks and vegetable crudités, spreading on sandwiches and wraps, add a dollop of houmous to your salad or serve as a side dish. 

Our Ocado houmous is available in two pack sizes:
S - 200g 
L - 300g

Try adding extra flavour to your houmous by mixing in roasted red peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, or olives.

Really Good Hummus!

I got this as a substitute, and I now have it every time! Its my new favourite! Highly recommended!

why have you changed the recipe?

Now contains lots of nasty ingredients. Taste and texture no where near as goodFAIL

this is now so bad

we've been buying this hummus for years and it was brilliant. last few weeks it has completely changed. its not just that it's not a good, it is now positively vile. have given it a few weeks in case just a temporary issue but had to move to a different brand now. ocado - please read these reviews and go back to the original recipe

Its changed

As others have reported, since the packaging has changed, it has gone from being the best of all brands to the worst. Only way to describe it is, they've used very old (out of date) chick peas, such that it is a bit like cardboard. Have persisted for past few shops in hope just got a bad batch (or two), but no, its just bad.

Its changed

Ive been buying Ocados own brand houmous for years and always thoroughly enjoyed it and thought it was great value. However, since the packaging changed at the beginning of March 2024, its gone from outstanding to downright unpleasant. The taste is odd - gone is the soft creaminess and delightful subtleties of tahini and garlic - replaced either a harsh almost synthetic flavour. Im so disappointed and so will no longer buy.
