This is how we make recycled paper
Everyone is talking about the environment, but how do we do our bit for the planet? A simple change in our daily habits, like changing our kitchen towel to recycled paper can make a world of difference.
- The most important thing is that we select high-quality recycled paper and cardboard, as only the best will do.
- It's collected, sorted and delivered to the mill.
- The paper goes through a thorough cleaning process where any plastic and metals which may be left behind, are removed.
- Excess water is drained and that's recycled too. The paper is then dried and wound to make a paper roll over 11 feet long.
- We then cut to size to create strong and absorbent individual rolls before wrapping them.
- Which are then packaged to be sold on Ocado.com.
At least 50% minimum recycled plastic
Used plastic is collected and recycled into new plastic packaging. Our wrapper is now made with a minimum of 50% recycled content, which helps to use less, new plastic.
