Excellent combination of sweet pepper taste, warm chilli flavour and bright colour.
Use in dipping salsas of all sorts, spicy Italian meatballs and stir frys. Dial up the heat by slicing across the chilli and include the seeds. Alternatively, slice down the chilli and remove the seeds for less heat.
In general the chillies in these packs are Fresno or Seranade varieties, which have a rating of 2,500 to 8,000 on the Scoville Heat Scale for Chilli Peppers, to put this into context the hottest chilli is at 15,000,000 and a Jalapeño would be 2,500.

Good and fresh
Order 4 packs of these to make sambal. All 4 packs were fresh with no bruises or bad chillies. Not sure how it is on its own but tasty as an ingredient
Very good and fresh
Very pleased. They kept fresh so long in the fridge as well.
I should say first that I don't like 'hot' food and don't often use chillies. I bought these against my better judgement to use in a recipe for guests and trusted , as they were sold as 'mild', that it would be OK for me too. I was a little disconcerted that the packet was not labelled 'mild' unlike the picture online. I removed the seeds and core and tasted a tiny piece raw and, sure enough it was mild, just like a bell pepper. I tasted the next chilli I chopped too and it was hot, hot, HOT. Much Gaviscon later I'd gone off the whole idea and found another recipe to give to my guests. I realise some cooks would find this heat welcome but it wasn't what I was expecting.
I'm convinced that these are not chillies at all but baby sweet peppers. Not a shred of heat in any of them. Very disappointing.
Spicier than I thought! Really nice fresh flavour. Did have to cut the end off one though but apart from that...
1/5 chillies rotten
1/5 chillies in the bag were completely rotten. Not good.
