No good for consumption unless you cook them. Rock solid & small, will never ripen.
Never ripe 'n ready and stay unripe
I've been buying these pears for about a year. I love that the packaging is plastic free. The pears are never ripe which I can deal with by planning to eat them in advance. The problem is half the time they do not ever ripen. The last pack bought was left for over a week and the are still rock hard and crunchy. Not buying again.
Not good at all
Bought Ocado brand ripe &ready to eat pears and they were awful. Expected soft, juicy sweet pears being stated ready and ripe, they were not. Rock hard like crunching on a crisp, no juice in them just hard dry. I won’t ever buy these again and recommend you save your money as they will be thrown away
beautiful yellow pears
Not ripe and ready
to eat. Arrived very hard and all with very bruised skin. M & S conference pears are better. Will not buy these again
Really good pears
I buy these all the time. They ripen to being firm but tender. Skin hasnt ever been tough. Different to the very soft flesh & tough skin conference pear combo we dont like. For our taste these are better than any others & Ive tried
