hit and miss
I had a good pack, and a bad pack. Didn't ask for refund, perhaps I should. You can usually tell good from bad by just looking at them, so why are they selling us bad ones?
I dont understand the negative reviews, all of my avocados were lovely when ripened
I now buy a pack of these with every weekly shop. They always ripen at home (only one out of 4 packs did not fully ripen) over a period of 5 or 6 days and they're totally delicious. The size is pefect too to eat on its own or in a salad or, of course, on toast with some lime juice and crushed chillis. I sometimes have waste with the larger ones, which I haven't had with these ones
finally found a consistent favourite
Its so hard to get avocados that are just right, either under or over ripe. I put these in the fruit bowl and in a couple of days theyre just right. I eat one a day so maybe some reviews are negative because theyve been keep too long. Theyre small enough to eat a full one as well.
Ripen home? More like ripen in van
These lasted around a day at home and then they were ripe and ready to eat. They were delivered in a fairly soft-ish state so no way could you save these for longer than a couple of days.
Hard and stringy
These were rock hard and didnt seem to ripen at all. When I did try to eat them they seemed to have gone bad in places but were still mostly so hard as to be difficult to cut - the bits I could eat were also really fibrous and stringy.
