Our pears change throughout the seasons so varieties may include Morettini, Packhams, Rocha and Williams pears.

These pears have a juicy, white flesh and a sweet flavour balanced with subtle acidity. To enjoy at their best, simply leave in your fruit bowl at room temperature for a few days until they feel slightly softer to the touch. Once ripe, a medium pear is 1 of your 5 a day and can be enjoyed as a delicious snack on the go, diced into salads, paired with cheeses like brie, gorgonzola, or cheddar, and baked, roasted or poached for dazzling desserts.

Top Tip!
To speed up the ripening process, place the pears in a paper bag with a ripe banana or apple. The ethylene gas produced by the other fruit will help to ripen the pears faster.
