With a creamy and smooth texture, it has an earthy, nutty base flavour from the chickpeas, with a sweet and gently spicy note that adds a pleasant warmth. Houmous is incredibly versatile and is a great accompaniment to chicken satay, grilled prawns, spring rolls, dumplings, or other Asian-inspired dishes.
