Lighter and more delicate in flavour than red wine vinegar, white wine vinegar is crisp and tangy, with a subtle sweetness and slight fruity notes, often reminiscent of green apples or citrus. This makes it best suited to lighter dishes, such as chicken, fish, or vegetables. It's
commonly used in vinaigrettes, marinades, and dressings where a more subtle acidity is desired including French cuisine. sauces like hollandaise. It's also ideal for use in homemade pickles where you want to maintain a lighter colour.

We use plastic bottles for our Ocado Own Range vinegar because:
- They're made out of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) which is widely recyclable including the cap. Make sure you leave the cap on when recycling!
- Our bottles contain a minimum of 51% recycled content, which helps to use less, new plastic.
