Very low in flavour
I personally found the product lacking flavour and very bland. There are many other superior miso products around.
tasted like baby\x27s formulae gone off
I had to pour this down the sink, disgusting, terrible, I'm a big miso fan and how they can say this is anything remotely like it, is inconceivable - do not buy!
Prefer the paste.
I am reviewing this because I got a free sample from Ocado which I passed to a friend as I am not a lover of Miso. They told me it was nice but they prefer the paste for value and convenience.
bland
I found this very bland and tasteless. it was very disappointing. it had a strange after taste and a bitterness to it. will not have it again
Too bland
I was given this product to review. It was not salty enough and I didn't taste much of miso. It had a slightly bitter aftertaste, which is odd. It might be an easy option, but making miso soup on your own is much nicer.
Doesn't taste like miso broth
I was sent this as a sample to review. It was edible but not tasty. I found myself wanting to add extra things to flavour it, which defeats the point of premade broth. Real miso is more salty. I will stick to making my own broth for miso as it's so easy (just dried shiitake, dried konbu and miso paste at the end).
