Crunchy taco shells
1 Prepare the filling
Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the onion until soft. Sizzle and stir the beef over high heat for about 4 minutes.
Add the taco seasoning mix and 150ml of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes or until the sauce thickens.
Mix the soured cream with lime juice and set aside.
2 Maximise the crunch!
Remove taco shells from packaging and separate them.
Oven: Pre-heat to 160°C (150°C fan forced). Place the taco shells on a baking sheet and heat for 4 minutes.
Air fryer: Place shells in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch the heating element. Heat at 130°C for 2 minutes.
3 Load & enjoy
Add tasty beef, pile on lettuce and cheese, drizzle with soured cream and top with saucy salsa.
