Useful Kit
Always have a kit box hanging around because sometimes it just HAS to be Tex-Mex. This time my box was almost 3 months out of date. The Tortillas were absolutely fine after some gentle dry pan warming and obviously the spices & salsa don't really go off for years. Yummy cupboard standby, but not the best brand.
not medium
we bought this as a change from the mild bbq as wanted a bit of a kick. unfortunately, this medium blew our mouths off. sadly not for us. would advise it is definitely not medium heat.
Meh. Better ingredients bought separately.
Sent to review. The kit contains a pack of tortillas, a package of salsa which is quite small, and a packet of spices. The tortillas are basic, edible, sturdy, but nothing very special. The spices are on the medium side. We had to supplement with additional salsa from a jar since the packet is quite small. I would not bother buying this kit because this household prefers different individual ingredients and in different quantities.
Nice, but expensive for what it is
This kit makes nice fajitas, but you could buy the components to produce the same thing much cheaper. Now I know what's in the pack, I'll just remake it myself. However, if you're in a rush, this makes a nice meal and is better value when on offer.
Nice change
I’m reviewing this product as I was sent a sample from Ocado. This is another simple to use kit in the range and makes a quick and easy mid week meal. Tasty, whilst not my favourite, it makes a nice change and is a new addition to my store cupboard.
Will buy again
I was sent this to review by Ocado. Good kit and good flavours. Not my favourite Old El Paso kit but pretty good. Would recommend.
