OMGTEA AA Grade Matcha Green Tea is a high grade organic matcha tea with a 1-Star Great Taste Award. OMGTea AA is made with a combination of the finest Japanese green tea leaves from the first and second harvest and shade grown in Kagoshima, Japan. They are slowly ground into a fine powder using a traditional granite stone mill, a process that takes more than an hour to grind 30 grams.

Store in a cool, dry place. Refrigerate once opened and consume within 90 days.

Sift ½ heaped teaspoon of matcha into a bowl or wide-mouthed mug. Add a few drops of hot not boiling water (80°C or less) and mix to create a paste. Add warm water or milk of your choice and whisk until frothy and smooth.


Top Tips:
Always use a tea strainer! Quality matcha is an ultra-fine microscopic powder meaning it easily becomes electrostatically charged and forms lumps, this is why the strainer is such an important tool in the preparation of the perfect cup of matcha.
If you don’t have a temperature control kettle, let it boil and then let it sit 10 minutes before preparing.
