Great for stir frys
These strips were tasty with a good texture. I used them in a stir fry and then and added a satay sauce. You could use them in a variety of Asian dishes. A really good find.
amazing!
First of all the macros are amazing - low calorie, high protein, low sugar and short ingredient list! Second - taste. I love these. I think you have to prepare them right to get the most out of them. I cook them for a while until they get crispy (sometimes I just pop them in the oven for a bit) and then I add a very thickened sauce. I think a sauce that glazes them is best as they dont absorb in the same way tofu might. Then I could eat them straight out of a bowl on their own!! So good! The sauce I use - teaspoon of peanut butter or heaped tsp powdered peanut butter, two tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp high sugar teriyaki, 1 tsp vegan fish sauce, 1 tsp cooking sake.
Yummy
Found these by pure randomness.. and Im so glad I did!! These are great! I marinated in honey & teriyaki sauce then popped into some bao buns!! Added another load onto my next order as theyre so quick & simple to cook.
Excellent taste and texture
Great for absorbing flavours, and particularly good for Asian dishes. I love the mouthfeel and it doesn’t have a strange aftertaste. It makes a change to have pork style products which can be used in really high quality dishes and elevating them. Lovely 😊
So good
I have tried lots of pork style meat replacement and thought these were the best. Omnipork is literally the best! They cook great in the air fryer too
A little disappointed
The pork strips were very easy to cook with and had a very good texture, but I found they didn't absorb much flavour. I used them with a hoisin sauce but was left a little disappointed and probably wouldn't try again.
