Only one in the pack was ok to eat
Very bruised fruit. Two rotten. Could only eat one from the pack. Although, I must add in fairness the one I could eat did taste lovely.
Juicy, sweet, lovely
Really surprised by the bad reviews! You do need to leave on a sunny windowsill to ripen up, but once ripened these are just luscious. Really enjoyed them, and I am not in general a major fan of the mealiness and dullness of eg Conference pears. Just bursting with honey sweetness. I got them for a salad, but my daughter asked for them later on sliced, alone, because they'd been so good. And she's a fussy little madam!
Should have trusted the reviews
Very small, bruised and very little blush. Look like early unripened windfall. Gave them a chance to ripen with the other fruit but just started to wrinkle almost immediately. Tried one before binning them just to be sure and it was both hard and mushy and totally flavourless... an affront to the cheese it was paired with.
Horrible
Tried them as they were on offer with the stilton deal. Arrived yellow with lots of bruising. They were very ripe but tasted of nothing.
Dreadful
Rock hard, then turn wooly very quickly. Absolutely awful pears
Rotten
Out of the shopping delivery bag into the dustbin! How can Ocado sell rotten fruit, not good enough.
