This is the only toothpaste my little one will tolerate. Well done Green People!
Good flavour, slightly odd texture
I'll give it 4 stars from the viewpoint of my 4 year old daughter who likes it. I'm happy with no flouride as she doesn't really spit out all of her toothpaste Personally I think the texture is a bit strange, like sloppy clay...
For once not a strawberry flavour toothpaste
Only one my son likes (but of course he is three and tastes change)
son loves it
A great toothpaste, my son loves it and has been using it since his first tooth emerged. He managed to eat a good part of a tube when he was about 2 - thankfully with no ill effects. All natural, no fluoride which is great. He is nearly 6 now and the dentist is amazed at how good and strong his teeth are.
no fluoride causes tooth decay!
I started buying this about 8 months ago for my 4.5 years old son as I wanted something organic - just back from our 6 months check up and son has tooth decay on one of the back teeth. Dentist asked if anything had changed in his diet (which had not) but mentioned changed his toothpaste 8 months ago. Showed him the toothpaste on my Ocado app and he told me to stop using it at once as he thinks it is the cause of my sons sudden tooth decay. Now that he doesnt swallow the toothpaste, his teeth need fluoride to protect them against decay! Going straight to the bin and now have to find organic toothpaste WITH fluoride!
Green People do not add Fluoride in this toothpaste to give customers the choice. Fluoride, when taken in excess via toothpaste and ingested can enter the bloodstream and have a hardening effect on the bones causing them to become brittle and other possible health implications. Our toothpastes were formulated by a dental care expert with over 30 years' experience in the industry, and they offer the same level of protection against fluoride deficiency induced dental decay as a fluoride containing product. Our advice for people who wish to supplement with fluoride is to use drops or tablets which can be obtained from a pharmacy. These give a precisely controlled dose of the mineral, unlike toothpaste dosed with fluoride. We will however be producing an organic children option very soon with Fluoride to give customers who wish to use certified organic toothpaste a choice.
great to see a natural toothpaste without fluoride, my daughter love it, I recommend people do a bit of research on the safety on fluoride, I personally wouldn't allow my children to use a toothpaste with it in.
