Straw hair
I dont usually leave reviews but had to for this product. I bought it for my 11 year old who has a very sensitive scalp. This shampoo doesnt lather at all so you cant even get it to reach the scalp, even when you shampoo twice. It left his hair feeling like straw and he has lovely soft hair usually. I tried it myself and my scalp still feels dirty and my hair feels dry and slightly coated. Will have to throw the bottle away as its that bad. Maybe this will be okay on babies, but dont use on anyone older. Such a shame as really wanted to like this product. The search for a shampoo for sensitive scalps continues.
Amazing smell
I got this shampoo as a free sample from Ocado. I have to say the shampoo is amazing. Makes my kids hair soft and the smell is really nice. I will definitely be buying it again.
Really good
Received as a free sample and is really good, lost one star due to high cost but the product itself effective and pleasant to use for children and adults and the pump lid means children don’t squeeze too much out at once.

It's a no-no
Was so excited about trying this shampoo... Unfortunately it didn't deliver. First of all, you need to use A LOT and definitely repeat at least once. It doesn't really foam. The smell is very perfume-like, very strong and artificial, even worse - lasts forever, so you smell like shampoo for a whole day. It left my hair looking very dull and straw-like. Never again.

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the Original Sprout shampoo. Sulphate free shampoos do create less foam, however they are still cleansing the hair with a small amount of product being used. If you are used to a high level of foam from a previous product, you may feel you need to add additional product to ensure the hair is cleansed, however this is not the case. Apply a 10 pence piece amount into the hand and massage thoroughly into the scalp hair and rinse. You will quickly get used to the change in feel of product and your hair and scalp will benefit from the change long term. Original Sprout

So happy Ocado started stocking this. Best shampoo I've ever used. I have thick, straight, coloured hair and I can use this without any need for conditioner; my hair comes out amazingly soft and shiny. Because it's natural you do have to use more than regular shampoos and I always rinse and repeat. I like the way you can feel it fizzing on the second application while doing it's thing. The smell is lovely too.
