Product Information
1. Mild Fruity Premium Early Harvest Single Variety Hojiblanca Cold Extracted Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Hojiblanca is a recent addition to the Oro Bailen family, one of the world's most awarded olive oil producers (99 points score in Flos Olei, the international olive oil guide) based in Jaen, Andalusia and run by José Galvez, after taking over the family business.
2. Objectively Superior Quality
This ultra-low acidity (less than 0.25%) single estate premium extra virgin olive oil is typically produced in October during the first 2 weeks of harvest. It is cold-extracted within 2 hours and filtered to preserve its taste and quality throughout its shelf life.
3. Mild green fruity
It is a mild fruity and very balanced extra virgin olive oil with aromas of artichokes, tomatoes and apples and hints of fennel and peppermint.
4. Food pairing suggestions
Its delicate profile makes it particularly versatile. We recommend it for salads, seafood and fish.

Oro Bailen Hojiblanca extra virgin olive oil won a Great Taste Star from the Guild of Fine Foods in 2020. Commenting on Oro Bailen Hojiblanca, the Great Taste judges ...” What an exquisite colour of golden green, perfectly clear. The aroma of freshly cut grass also has elements of cold buttered artichokes and green bananas. The mouthfeel and texture is silky smooth with a fresh young olive fruitiness, a little bitterness midpalate, and a warm and reassuring pepperiness on the finish….Vibrant in colour with a grassy, citrus nose. Peppery, meadowy and fruity in taste.”
