Preparation and Usage

Indulge in the savoury perfection of our premium back bacon. Sliced from the finest cuts of pork, our back bacon offers a tantalizing blend of rich flavour and perfect smokiness. Whether you're crafting a classic breakfast or adding a gourmet touch to your favorite dishes, our back bacon promises a culinary experience that's second to none.

To cook: Bacon can be fried, grilled or use an air fryer.

Fry:
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan until hot, add the bacon and cook streaky or back rashers for 1–2 minutes on each side. Dry frying is a healthier method of frying where only the melted fat from the meat is used. Place in a cold non-stick frying pan and cook over a low heat to start with, once some fat starts to run out, increase the heat and cook for 1–2 minutes on each side.

Grill:
Preheat the grill to high, place the rashers on the grill pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side, depending on how crispy you like them. Grilling is a much healthier method of cooking than frying and if you prefer crispy bacon you will get a better result.

Airfry:
Lay the bacon in a single layer in the base of an air fryer – be sure the layers aren't overlapping. The size of the air fryer basket will determine how many rashers you can cook at one time.

Set the air fryer to 200C and cook for 4-8 mins, depending on your preference. If you are cooking in batches, remember that the second batch will usually be quicker as the air fryer has heated up.
