Strange flavour and texture
I followed the instructions to the letter but this does not taste like a nice mild creamy korma. It has a very strange sour taste and a bit gloopy consistency. Its an ok curry but not a korma in my view. Definitely not buying again.
Portion control
These are great for portion control, exactly as much as you need with no waste. Good flavour if a few flourishes are added at the end (herbs, chilli et al)
Very handy little pots
Gave a good base flavour .
Not Korma
I don't know if there was a mix up in the factory, but the box and the pot both were labelled Korma. However it looked, smelled and tasted exactly like the Tikka Masala paste. This was definitely not Korma though. It was too hot for a start, and definitely did not have any coconut in it.
A regular buy in our house!
Makes a lovely Korma. The Masala pot is also tasty and worth a go. I followed the recip on the box, the only thing I changed is that I added both pots to give the dish more depth of flavour. Best " off the shelf" instant Korma curry we have purchased! Creamy and delicious and so easy to make! NB it needs a decent can of thick Coconut Milk, IE - Blue Dragon.
surprisingly good
Far much easier to use this little pod than their jar version . Might cost more but for the unfamiliar consumers with this brand , better ! Delicious and quick cooking !
