Simply fry onion, ginger and garlic. Sizzle the spice paste to release flavours and brown your meat or vegetables. Add in chopped tomatoes and simmer until all cooked through. Ripple through double cream and garnish with fresh coriander to serve.

1 small onion
1cm piece of ginger
1 garlic clove
2 chicken breasts
200g chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp tomato purée
75ml double cream
Fresh coriander
Easy Chicken Tikka Masala Curry for 2
1 Fry diced onion in 1 tbsp of oil until soft. Add finely chopped ginger and garlic with the Paste Pot and sizzle to release the flavours. Fill the empty pot with water, add to the pan and cook until evaporated.
2 Add diced chicken and sear, then loosen with the tomatoes, tomato purée and 75ml water. Ripple through the cream, add 1 tsp sugar and simmer uncovered for 15 mins until the chicken is cooked through. Garnish with fresh coriander to serve.
Try with 300g butternut squash and add a handful of peppers to the simmering sauce.
Slice a fresh green chilli in with your paste, for a little extra spice.

Great
It was great with a vegetable curry. I just added some coconut cream and it worked really well. Will definitely buy again.
Whats happened
Ive used this paste before and its been fine but this time it was so vinegary, had to finish off with a rennie! Yuk.
didn't blow my mind
After reading all the oositive reviews I decided to buy this but was a bit underwhelmed by the lack of complexity in flavour. it was much better the next day.

Always have these pots in the cupboard. So easy to use, a great base for any curry as you can add spice/heat or extra seasoning like ginger or garlic accordingly as per your palate or dish, and because theyre in individual pots, they dont go to waste like the paste jars where once you open it you need to use it within a week or so.
Good flavour but very mild
Good flavour, I added the garlic, ginger, tomatoes etc and green chillies. Its quite nice but wont buy this again. I much prefer the madras paste.
Handy little pot !
Great size, no waste & pots can be recycled. Followed recipe but added fresh whole green chillies for an extra kick & substituted cream with natural yoghurt at the end, tasty.
