Product Information

Produced on a family farm in Lancashire, Paxton & Whitfield’s Aldwych is a soft, bloomy rind goat’s cheese.

Named after our origins, when in 1742 Stephen Cullum set up a stall, selling cheese from the top of a barrel in Aldwych Market, London. This cheese is a celebration of our origins and heritage.

Paxton & Whitfield’s Aldwych is handmade using traditional methods and poured into small moulds before maturing. The cheese is an unusual goats milk brie style cheese which has a creamy and slightly nutty flavour. When young the cheese will have a firm, chalky texture that gets creamier with age.
