birds love it
this is the only one the birds in my garden will eat. all the others stay in the feeder until they go mouldy but this one gets demolished by loads of different bird species.
Plastic-free and starlings adore it
The flock of starlings that visit my garden seem to prefer this to bird peanut butter, which was a surprise. Theyre on their second slab of the day. And the plastic-free packaging is fantastic (aside from the dreaded Ocado bag used to deliver it). I havent found the slabs stick together so far.
Excellent
No plastic packing - good; but although the 8 cakes are wrapped together in oiled paper, the actual cakes stick together and are sometimes impossible to part without one or both breaking apart. So a simple sheet of oiled paper is needed between the cakes, please!
Happy birds
The birds are happy and so am I at the lack of plastic used. The packaging is perfect and shows how it can be done without the need for plastic. Unfortunately they like it so much they get through one a day!
Birds love this and non plastic packaging
Fabulous. Birds love this and non plastic packaging.
Birds all love these!
I break these in quarters to fit in my fat ball feeder and all the birds love them even the robins who have learned how to get into my squirrel proof feeders. They dont leave any mess on the ground and dont melt in the heat. I like the fact that they are in a recyclable cardboard box but I do need to decant them into an old plastic tub as I keep them in the shed and mice would chew through the cardboard in a flash to get these cakes! I definitely re-buy these.
