Penderyn Single Malt has a light fruitiness, generous flavour and a subtle complexity. Our unique stills produce a spirit of extraordinary strength and purity. This is married with water from the Brecon Beacons National Park and double-matured in the finest ex-bourbon barrels and ex-Oloroso sherry casks to bring out its rich fruity flavour.
Nose: Aromas of dark fruit and rich toffee mingle with green apples and hazelnuts. Palate: A rich sweetness gives way to refreshing dryness. Finish: Sweet notes of toffee and sultana persist in the long finish. Balance: Sherry and oak / winter spices.

Not that smooth, not the best. Average. Buy if it is on sale. Better ones available same price.
Lovely taste and finish.
Lovely taste and finish. One of the best single malts I’ve ever tried.
Despite the attractive "offer" and packaging, I thought this was an unexceptional whisky. Pleasant, but so is something half the price, and lacking character.
My knowledge of whisky is restricted to something cheap and cheerful that goes into a hot toddy when I have a cold! I received this item to review, though, and it's a really nice treat. It's much lighter and less harsh than other whiskies, and you might well like it if you don't usually like whisky. It's nice on the rocks or would probably work with a mixer for a summer drink.
enjoyable and light whisky. good gift
its an enjoyable and light whisky, with some subtle fruity notes and a short finish. Ideal for people who don't like any smokey or peaty harshness to a whisky. Tastes young It comes really well presented and packaged as an ideal gift.
I received this to review and was really impressed. Its smooth and does have a sherry-ish edge. My husband didnt like this, which was fine by me as it meant I didnt have to share - but I guess it would put off anyone else who doesnt like sherry. I think this would deter me from giving it as a gift to someone, unless I was sure they liked sherry.
