History
Bin 138 Shiraz Grenache Mataro (Mourvèdre) is a traditional regional blend based on old vines planted as far back as 1895. The first vintages (1992-1997) were released as ‘Old Vine Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre'. It was elevated to Bin status in 1998. These three varieties have formed the backbone of the Barossa's vineyard heritage since the late 19th century and were used in both table wine and fortified wine production.
