The 2024 growing season across South Australia was
characterised by a warm, even ripening period following a
relatively dry winter and spring, resulting in modest yields and
strong fruit concentration. Mild flowering supported good fruit
set, while a warm but rarely extreme summer allowed steady
flavour accumulation and preserved natural acidity. Harvest
was slightly compressed, requiring careful picking to capture
freshness and varietal definition.
