History
Penfolds Max's Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert 1948-1975, a legend in Penfolds history. Max's constant pursuit of excellence paved the way for those who followed in his footsteps and also allowed the status and heritage of Penfolds to grow. Max's Chardonnay displays the Penfolds ‘stamp' inspired by Max Schubert.

Nice but a bit too pricey

I am reviewing this as I received a sample from Ocado, It was nice but not worth £20. You can buy one just as good or better from Ocado for under a tenner.

A bit sharp for me.

I was sent a bottle by Ocado to review. I'm not a wine connoisseur but I found it a little sharp for my taste, but my husband liked it more than me.

Very Oakey chardonnay

This chardonnay has a lot of oak flavours so if that’s what you like then go for it. Personally I liked it but some of my guests didn’t go for it.

Decent bottle

I’m reviewing this product because I got a free sample from Ocado and we enjoyed it. Good on an offer for sure but not convinced on the £20 price.

Nothing special

Am reviewing this as I received a sample from Ocado, It was OK, but I found it a bit sharp. Ocado sell much nicer wines and cheaper!
