Brand details
A luxury champagne house focused on quality, Perrier-Jouët has family roots reaching back to 1811, some of the finest vineyards in Champagne and a reputation for crafting floral, elegant cuvées of finesse. Behind this stands a line of just seven Cellar Masters who, over two centuries, have upheld the house style. Since its 1902 collaboration with Art Nouveau pioneer Emile Gallé, creator of the anemone design for the house's Belle Epoque prestige cuvée, Perrier-Jouët has commissioned work from established and emerging artists.

Serving suggestions
The Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Rosé cuvée boasts an expert balance of floral and fruity notes, which will be unveiled to perfection by contrasting flavours. Its refinement will be perfectly expressed with shellfish, such as lobster tails sautéed with seaweed butter, accompanied by raw chicory leaves and wakame with green apples. As a dessert, the sweetness of panna cotta lifted by the acidity of a blood orange and pink grapefruit jelly and accompanied by a crunchy meringue will sublimely echo the multi-sensorial experience evoked by this cuvée.

Vinification details
Hervé Deschamps has hand-crafted this wine to achieve the perfect balance between the generous characteristics of the 2006 vintage and the consistency of the Perrier-Jouët house style. With grapes sourced from the best terroirs, the Chardonnays (50%) bring elegance and floral freshness to the blend, the richness of the Pinot Noirs (45%), and rounded aromas of red fruits from the Pinot Meuniers (5%). With six years ageing in the cellars the wine has developed into a delicate, yet intense, rich and voluptuous wine; this is a cuvée that provokes thoughtful contemplation to appreciate each nuance.
