Indestructible
Since adopting a local stray that - turns out - was pregnant, and raising her 3 children, I can assure you I have gone through many a-wand/teaser toy and can say without hesitation that this one is brilliant. Its one of the first toys I bought for the stray when we first got her and it has outlasted all the other wands save one (another one from Ocado, the furry snake one). The spider may have zero legs left and he certainly looks like hes seen better days BUT (1) The cats have never managed to chew through the cord/string, which they have done on every other wand Ive bought within a day or two of buying it (2) The cord is still attached to the stick! Another bit cat wand issue I find is that the place where the string attached to the wand is often weak and comes detached easily (3) They go crazy for it every time - even the mum cat, who is very picky with her toys and engagement. Im actually repurchasing this toy now as Id like the kittens to get to enjoy an 8-legged version.
Turned nervous kitty into lioness
We have a 9yo nervous rescue. We bought her a large feather toy but she seemed scared of it. After introducing her to this friendly spider a few times she now goes wild hunting for it. We think its been a major factor in increasing her confidence.
Brilliant toy, taught scared cat to play
No other toys were of interest to a scared rescue cat, and then along came a spider. He loves it and has played for hours, it wiggles purfectly when you drag it along the floor, clearly it's irresistible, highly recommend.
Purrfect little toy
My grandkitties favourite toy to date. I think their main aim (the three of them) is to see who gets the most legs off! They are on the second one now but still play with the first one even though it no longer resembles a spider more like a big full stop.
Kittys favourite
Kitty loves this toy! Very robust too. Excellent.
Favourite toy…
When it rains spider comes out to play… I use this to de energise our cat in bad weather. I rustle the spider in newspapers, hide it inside slippers. He absolutely loves this spider and I’m sure he thinks it is real… It’s a robust toy for interactive fun play. .Recommend!
