History
Henners was founded in 2007, with current winemaker Collette O'Leary taking over with Boutinot in 2017. Founding members of Sustainable Wines of Great Britain, we remain steadfast in our dedication to quality and sustainability. We work with a network of grape growers across the South East of England to source the finest fruit bringing together a mix of terroirs and climates which allow us to produce excellent wines year after year.

Regional information
Henners is 4 miles from the sea in the village of Herstmonceux, East Sussex. The 7 acre vineyard was created in 2007 and became part of the Boutinot family in 2017. Planted with traditional Champagne varieties that thrive in a microclimate created by the vineyard's proximity to the sea just back from the Pevensey ridge.

Vinification details
Partially stemmed and macerated overnight before direct pressing to extract delicate colour and fragrant red berry aromas. All Henners wines are hand-crafted from start to finish; with separate fermenting of varietals and their vine clones to allow a broader range of wines for final blending; extended lees ageing for added complexity; and holding back of all bottles for at least 3 years prior to release to add depth and richness to every wine.
