Love these
We love these croissants they cook really well and taste delicious (Don't understand other reviews saying artificial taste) great as weekend treat with a good cup of coffee.
Excellent
Lovely treat.
Love these - great taste and great ingredients
Really nice almond croissants with great ingredients. Can't understand the comments about a chemical taste especially when the ingredient list is compared to the alternative options. Perhaps some people are so used to synthetic flavourings that when they taste something made with actual almonds it's unfamiliar.
disappointing
Anything from Picard is usually good but these are very stodgy with an unpleasant chemical taste.
Best bake at home almond croissants Ive tried
Tricky to get almond croissants to taste good from the freezer but these Picard ones are very good. Like all of the Picard frozen pastries, the quality is excellent. These are a regular purchase on my list!
Dry and chemical tasting
I love an Almond croissant so was excited to buy these as I like the Picard brand and regularly buy several of their other products which are very good. I bought these as a change from our normal pastry treat for weekend breakfast. Sadly they were not pleasant dry, not buttery, little filling and the filling that it did have had an overwhelming acetone flavour that put us right off. Nothing like the lush squidgy subtle-tasting almond paste that is normally in these items. Will stick to the Babke Brioche from Picard in future as that is delicious.
