well worth the money
These pearl onions are great for stews and casseroles! Will buy again and definitely recommend.
bigger than before
I bought these as when I had them before they were very tiny and I knew that I would never sit and peel such little ones myself. The tiny ones looked so good on the plate. The ones I received this week are much bigger: 2-3cm instead of about 1cm. They just look like small onions and nothing like the charming ones from before.
Excellente!
Today I made a large batch of coq au vin using these. Defrosted for a couple of hours and fried according to recipe. All stayed whole after this. Shallots are usually too large and have a raw taste even after frying. I can’t recommend highly enough. please, Please, PLEASE Ocado, bring back into stock
Perfectly pearl
Being trying to find these for years... really pleased to have found them..Great in a beef cobbler.
Great for boiurginon
Great instead of shallots in casserole
An excellent addition to stews
These pearl onions are fantastic to add into coq au vin or any stew; they hold their shape well, and add a subtle background sweetness to any dish.
