About the Brand Pintail Candles is a family business that has been hand-making candles in the Lake District for over 30 years, using the traditional double-pour method. The company is dedicated to creating its candles in an ethical and environmentally friendly way: the wax it uses is a recycled by-product of other industries, its workshop is powered by renewable energy, its components come from fellow UK manufacturers and it pays a living wage to its staff, protecting local jobs in Britain and the communities they support. Preparation and Usage
| Place on a stable, level, heat resistant surface away fromdraughts and combustible materials. Not wood, plastic or any material that may mark with heat. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. Always trim wick to 5mm prior to each use. Stop when 5mm of wax remains. Keep wax pool clear of foreign objects e.g. matches, as this may cause a dangerous second source of flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Container may become hot during use. Extinguish if flame becomes enlarged or smokes. Do not burn this candle for more than 3 hours at any one time. |
