Many products claim antioxidant properties but untreated pomegranate juice is the best you can get. Some may find the intensity a little overpowering so just dilute in water or - my favourite - add to cold milk.
Tried mixing it with water at different volumes to get the right taste and ir was always weird wasn't as bold flavoured as it should be.
I've had the real syrups in montinegro and they're delightful even there cordial versions, this however is so bad.
Pomegranate was valued in ancient Greece and I imagine they would have had fridge loads of this if it were around then. I like it, it tastes like the real thing it is - they say it has the juice of six whole pomegranates. My only criticism is the bottle, If only they would use a straight bottle not the awkward bobbly one which is difficult for out of the bottle drinkers especially when you get towards the end, and the coloured film is so difficult to remove for recycling - another brand uses straight bottles with a simple cut line to remove the film.
