Tasting Notes
The colour is pale yellow with faint green highlights. This is lively, fresh and vivacious, fine, delicate and generous. Citrus fruit and white flower notes combine with small red fruits to offer elegance balanced with great finesse and complex finish
History
Pommery & Greno was established in 1836, but it was the highly entrepreneurial Jeanne-Alexandrine Louise Pommery, who in 1858 took over the running of the business after the unexpected death of her husband, that made sure the Pommery name and reputation was internationally recognised. Madame Pommery launched the first commercially successful `Brut' Champagne in history `Pommery Brut Nature 1874', at a time when champagne was excessively sweetened with sugar.
Regional Information
Pommery is based and produced in Reims, one of the key regions for the production of wine and where many of the famous and original names in Champagne are established. The original Pommery Domaine is still used in the production of all our wines including 18km of chalk galleries located 30 metres below ground where maturation takes place.

Vinification Details
Pommery is produced using the traditional Champagne method. Grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier are carefully selected from key regions before undertaking the precise process of transforming them into Champagne over 3 to 5 years minimum. Our winemaker, Clément Pierlot sees that the utmost care, skill and expertise is utilised to ensure the excellent quality of this Marque is maintained.

Best Champagne i\x27ve tasted

Best champagne I have ever tasted! I don't like dry wines or champagnes, which most are when purchasing Champagne certainly the well known brands anyway. This champagne has a slight sweetness which I love it's not dry at all. This is now my go to Champagne as it doesn't need anything else added to it, it's so easy to drink and enjoyable. If you don't like dry wines this is the champagne for you

Exceptionally good!

I find this champagne the perfect balance, not to dry or sweet with just the right amount of bubbles. Does not leave a dry after taste like some. We are huge fans, highly recommend!

The perfect accompaniment

We really enjoyed this champagne - huge fans of Pommery in general, but this is really fantastic value for money. Balanced and refreshing - would definitely recommend!

I bought 2 bottles as it was half price but even at half price, I honestly couldnt recommend. Its incredibly acidic with minimal bubbles. More like cheap Lambrusco than Champagne.
