why has it gone up so much?!
Ive found the trick with these is to use just boiled water. Leave it too long before pouring in and the noodles stay hard. Or if you have lowered the temp of your kettle to save a few pennies. 90 doesnt work. 95 sort of but still some noodles can be harder than they should be. 100 and the noodles soften. Even leaving the kettle a minute or two after its boiled is enough to have some hard noodles. Other than that, its a secret vice not the healthiest but its less bad than they used to be (and why the flavour has changed). I add a bit more soy sauce to mine
I love these
Don't understand the negative reviews. It's a Pot Noodle! You add hot water and get instant food. It's not supposed to be a gourmet thing or for every day. For what it is, it's ok. Helpful when you are sick or disabled and can't cook a meal or when you need something tasty and quick.
eh
The noodles felt like they hadnt been cooked enough each time I tried to make it. I did it to the recommended time
Noodle soup
Received this as a free gift to review. Haven't eaten a pot noodle for many years and i think it will be many years till the next one. A noodle soup with little flavour,. Had to add a lot more Soya Sauce, need 5x the amount given. Cannot believe 430 calories and 58g of carbohydrate per pot. I still feel just as hungry as when i started, empty calories, much better with a sandwich. Will not buy again.
Not my thing
I am reviewing this product because I received a free sample from Ocado. I am not the one who would go for a pot noodle but understand the convenience of it. This flavour is just not for me but some other might enjoy it. It is not bad quality, it is just not my thing.
Average
I received this product free from Ocado to review. I like Pot Noodles on the whole, but this Noodle is lacking in chow mein flavour. I like the soy sauce packet in the pot, but the amount offered is so miniscule as to not be worth having. It does not boost the flavour of the noodles at all. I wouldn't waste money on this item, although I would be quite happy to eat it if I was given to me.
