Recipes

Cooking Instructions
Risotto Recipe - (For 2 servings:)
1 Sauté the onion in butter or oil until softened. Add 160g Riso Gallo Easy Cook and coat until translucent.
2 Add the wine and stir until it has evaporated.
3 Add 320ml hot stock, stir and let it cook for 10 min. After 10 minutes the stock will have been absorbed, the rice will be cooked and creamy, yet retaining a desired bite in the centre.
4 Stir through ingredients of your choice and grated Parmesan cheese to create your own Risotto recipe.

Boil & Drain (ideal for side dish, salad, poke bowl)
1 Bring a large pan of water to the boil.
2 Add 80g of rice per person and salt if desired.
3 After 10 minutes drain but do not rinse.
4 Add whatever ingredient, or sauce, you wish.

Tip 1
Whatever dry volumetric measure of rice used, add 2 times the amount of hot stock.
Tip 2
If ingredients which need to be cooked are used, sauté together with the onion, more stock may be required to achieve the desired consistency.
