Brand
Rooster Rojo® Tequila is produced at “Fabrica de Tequilas Finos” distillery, located in the city of
Tequila, Jalisco, state of Mexico, at the foot of Tequila hill. The distillery started its operations in
2000 but the beautiful old colonial building it is housed in was built in 1923
The Agave pinas are cut in 2 parts and cooked in a steam autoclave for 10 hours. We only produce
100% agave tequila to give our consumers the best possible taste
We use a double pot distillation method in stainless steel pot stills, which allow us to preserve the
natural flavours of highest quality 100% agave tasted best in Rooster Rojo Blanco
The water, used to produce Rooster Rojo® tequila is filtered through Mexican silver, the only brand
to do so, it makes the liquid softer and smoother making it perfectly easy to sip.
Anejo is also aged in ex bourbon oak barrels but with a much heavier char for around 12 – 18
months. This gives the liquid a much deeper chocolaty taste. The extra aging time means the tequila
works well in stirred down drinks such as an old fashioned.

Good Anejo
Smooth anejo, good price
So good!
We love this in a Oaxacan old fashioned with agave syrup and angostura bitters and a garnish of grapefruit peel, yum!
Good value
A decent tequila for the price, I'd buy this brand again.
