Domaines Barons De Rothschild Lafite took over Los Vascos (meaning 'the Basques', in honour of its Basque origins) in 1988. The vineyards benefit from a unique microclimate which has everything needed to produce extraordinary wines.

Regional information

The Los Vascos estate lies at the foothills of the coastal range, 200km South West of Santiago, in the cooler part of Colchagua
where the vines benefit from the natural cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean.

Tasting notes

Enticing nose of red fruit, such as plum and cherry, laced with ripe strawberries, nutmeg, cocoa, thyme and black pepper. Smooth on the palate with ripe tannins, a good structure and pleasing concentration

Vinification details
