Royal Brackla

Royal Brackla Distillery, founded in 1812, was the first in Scotland to be granted a Royal Warrant by King William IV in 1833. As one of the oldest distilleries in the world, it enjoys a resplendent setting, close by the banks of the River Nairn. It has stood in its serene rural spot, on the coastal plain that lies between the seawater of the Moray Firth and the rising slopes of the Grampian Mountains, for more than two centuries. High-grade barley, flawless water from the Cawdor Burn and slow distillation produce a truly refined spirit.
