Product Information

The Rozès Ruby is the result of the rigorous best wines selection from the Demarcated Douro Region. The climate and soil of the region, as well as our know-how, form a harmonising combination and give the wine both freshness and complexity. This wine is young and spicy, with concentrated aromas of red fruits. It perfectly goes with nuts, lighter cheeses and fruit ice cream cakes.

Vinification details

In the small quintas, grapes are put in small rectangular wicker baskets which are then brought to the vats. In the big quintas, grapes are poured in big metallic tubs which are the brought to the vats by trucks. Nearly all the grapes are picked manually. Grapes are carried out in baskets of about 60 to 75 kg. Then they are crushed & pressed with feet. The first pressing, named ¿corta¿ lasts 4 hours. After that, the grapes are resting during all the night & then they made another pressing the day after.
