Absolutely Delicious!
Tried this for the first time today and I just could not resist having a second glass (sherry size). This is now my most favourite tipple. If you like Baileys or sweet sherry you will really love this. This bottle is all mine and not coming out the cupboard for anyone else.
Chocolate liquor
I absolutely love sweet dessert wine and thought Id try this. The bottle comes in a beautiful box and is suitable for someone who loves dessert wine as a present. It looked expensive! I wouldnt guess that its a dessert wine, for me it tasted like a sweet chocolatey cherry liquor! Its quite strong if youre not used to drinking much like me, I had a small shot of it and I already feel like I cant walk haha. The second I opened it I straight away smelled chocolate. I will definitely purchase it away as gifts
Absolutely Delicious
If you like Port or any fortified wine then you will love this! It’s warming, smooth and a pleasure to drink. Highly recommend
Excellent Dessert Wine
We first tasted this dessert wine in a local restaurant a couple of years ago. It was one of the nicest dessert wines wed had and were excited to see Ocado stocking it! Would recommend this wine to anyone who appreciates a good dessert wine, especially chocolate lovers!
Not getting any chocolate from this
Slight smell of infused chocolate on opening the bottle but no discernible taste of chocolate in the actual fortified wine, and I tried three bottles over a period of weeks to see if it might be me but no no definitely not enough chocolate in this wine if there's any in there at all
No real substance, just sweet and sickly
We didn't enjoy this wine. It tasted like a cheap fortified red wine with some chocolate sauce mixed in. There is little depth or complexity to the flavour. It is just sweet and sickly. I'm now trying to decide what to do with the rest of the bottle - I certainly won't be drinking it!
